In 1919, Adolf Halstrick and the Stauff couple acquired the company premises and the building in Stotzheim. The conversion of the production for tissue paper and toilet paper began in 1926 with 52 employees at that time. Dr. Adolf Halstrick was appointed Managing Director in 1928 and in the same year the first napkins rolled off the production line at the Stotzheim site.
During the Second World War, production was exclusively limited to bandage material and embossed napkins for hospitals. After the end of the war, the company restarted in 1947 with a total of 47 employees and by 1972 had expanded the production facility in Stotzheim into one of the leading companies in Europe in the field of paper production and napkin manufacture. Between 1972 and 1985, the product range was optimised so that the focus of production at the Stotzheim site was exclusively on tissue and napkin products.
In 1998, the company became Metsä Tissue Oy and in 2020, the Mutares Group acquired the company and changed its name to keeeper tableware GmbH. With approximately 200 employees, keeeper tableware GmbH is one of the largest private label napkin manufacturers in Europe. From Stotzheim, napkins are delivered to all well-known companies in food retail, discount, drugstore and bulk consumer markets.
Along this journey through time, the FASANA brand was developed and established in 1947. Under the brand FASANA we offer a range of napkins which is optimally adapted to market and customer requirements. With the current colours you can bring variety and the right feel-good ambience to the table with colour-coordinated decoration depending on the season – whether traditional, modern or classic.
